No, you can't see the PHP when you view source in a browser...
That is why I provided the PHP separately.

UPDATE:
While I have not been able to find the reason for this problem, I did notice that it did not happen when there was only one cell <TD> in the left column, so I put the graphic image of the house in the same cell, and the problem is gone. I've ran into this before, and am sure I will again, so have made this work-around a mental note for now. If anyone comes-up with some understanding as to what's going-on, I'd love to hear from you.
