A bit of help please
I wanna get a guestbook on my website just like this one but do not know how to obtain it..Im using dreamweaver 7 for my website please help.

Design a simple database...
GUESTBOOK(msg_id, name, message) read records from it... post records to it...

I'm sorry mate but it's more complex than you think. Just saying you have dreamweaver is like saying "I have a hammer and nails... I want to build a house."
You will need some understanding of PHP or ASP and the relevant SQL server.

You can build a guestbook within 3 minutes using dreamweaver. You just need a server with a database and PHP etc. You use the built in server behaviors and wamo. you have a guest book in a few clicks.

Right i have the page(guestbook) ready and up on the server, but how do people make posts...Anybody willing to go into detail about it.Would be most appreciated

seriously mate, don't expect people to spend their valuable time code everything you need just because you asked nicelly...
if you want to learn, that's great! go do something and when you run into problems, memebers of this webforumz will be more than willing to help you get through them.

When they submit the form it should send the information to the database and then refresh the page. Its all in the form action.

Funny enough, I couldn't have my favourite cereal that morning coz I'd run out of milk, which did bug me.... lol
the point is, I'm glad to help out people with their work and they have trouble, but it drives me up the wall when people want you to do their work for them... com'on! just put some effort into it...
