Design a simple database...
GUESTBOOK(msg_id, name, message)

read records from it...
post records to it...

Re: A bit of help please

I'm sorry mate but it's more complex than you think. Just saying you have dreamweaver is like saying "I have a hammer and nails... I want to build a house."

You will need some understanding of PHP or ASP and the relevant SQL server.

Re: A bit of help please

You can build a guestbook within 3 minutes using dreamweaver. You just need a server with a database and PHP etc. You use the built in server behaviors and wamo. you have a guest book in a few clicks.

Re: A bit of help please

When they submit the form it should send the information to the database and then refresh the page. Its all in the form action.

Funny enough, I couldn't have my favourite cereal that morning coz I'd run out of milk, which did bug me.... lol

the point is, I'm glad to help out people with their work and they have trouble, but it drives me up the wall when people want you to do their work for them... com'on! just put some effort into it...
