Hosting Doesn't Support Flash...

... Is it possible that my hosting account with 123reg.co.uk doesnt support flash? I'm not a web designer or any good with flash at all, simple HTML is my limit, but a friend who's been designing my bands website www.mrmaggs.co.uk made it all as flash, but as you'l see if you click on the link you cant get any futher than the linked image. He told me that our hosting account doesn't support flash. Is the correct? I've never heard of anything before, I though anything would support flash.

any ideas?

Cheers. Jon.

Re: Hosting Doesn't Support Flash...

I guess it is possible. I have never heard of that before. You can always can your website host and ask them. I saw a couple of problems, which might be stopping the flash file from loading. But I would first call my website host and ask them. If they say they do let me know and I will tell you a few things to try. If they say they don't support flash I would recommend godaddy.com. It is only $4.95 per month. Really reasonable. If you need anything else please reply.

I think the problem lies with the fact your hosting the file externally -

Try uploading the actual SWF file on your own server, thats what its there for

No that's not it. You can host a flash file externally. I checked the URL she linked to it works fine. So there is a good chance it is the website host. If that's not it I could give her another code that she code try. But let's go one step at a time.
