I think we're talkin about 2 different things.

I can add the user "webforumz" to my network, but there is another option of adding the forum to you networking forums. The only way I have been able to do that is by using the zoints menu bar and then connecting the forum to my profile.. I don't know if there's another way to do it or not. But thanks
