music on my site ( 2 Questions! )

ok on my site i want some music BUT! i want to play multiple songs on my site ALSO! i want them to play on the same page one after another isthere any way to do this ?

is there anyway that i can play the songs in multiple pages with out the songs goin bk to the begining ??

i mean like if you change the page in the middle of a song it carrys on playin on the next page from were u left off??

Don't consider this a personal attack or criticism...but:

Do you REALLY want music on your site? Before you answer.. Put a poll in the webforumz cafe to see people's opinions on sites with music.

All I'm saying is Music on sites is widely considered to be an annoyance to many people. I, for one don't hang around on sites when there's music playing.

If you do decide to stick with this idea and put music on your site then you have a couple of options... The most favourable would be to figure some kind of flash music player into the site. This will help achieve a very important rule: If you insist on putting music on your site make 100% sure that the user can control wether they hear it or not.

If you want music come to the flash forum I will help you. Make a thread.

Just remember. Make sure the user has control. If they don't like the music it's either Stop the music or Leave and if you don't give them the option to stop the music...well, you get the idea.

Music on web sites makes me want to yank my speakers out and strangle the author of the site with the severed cords. very important is as stated to give the user control. My recommendation would be to have it defaulted as off and give the user enough of a notice to alert them that music is indeed available.

Flash has some built in player and such that can also be skinned to your needs. Something like that is good as if prompted I will often click the play button just to listen to what is there. The key here is choice. Give the user choice and they will come back.

Guys, the site is already in dire straits with all the popups, cursor changes and everything else that's being added. Look at the threads and the stuff being asked for. Most everything being added to the site is already adding to it's craziness. Who cares if he adds music, it fits right in with everything else being done.

Hell, I was more curious about wanting to have a link where people can make his site their homepage. I wouldn't want to meet the person who would ever want this crazy site as their homepage.

use flash and make a movie that will play the sounds for you. then insert it onto your html page

im putting a link to another window with song list ect.. dont worry im not gona shuv it down there throughts i thought having it on every page would be a bad idea so im givin them total control
