navigation menu problem...?
Is there a way to remove this white box or hide it? I'm new to web design and coding. I am making a navigation menu using javascript and appers after item is selected. Does this have anything to do with the focus of the object? Any help I could get would be awesome! Thank You!
  I would like it to look like this third pic after you initially click it. Instead of having to click elsewhere on the page to remove the box.

The short answer is no - at least I've found a way. I think you will find it only happens in IE.

I test in Firefox and IE, it shows up in both.
