Hello
I've a pr 4 in google, but I ran my site through silktide and it says that my site can hardly be found, it would be nice to have some links, cat-creative My site is about original artwork and cats. Would like to have inward links or exchange pr4 and above. cheers. SJ

Page rank has nothing to do with your actual ranking in search engines.
It is a marker of your websites 'vote' power to other websites.

Hello
I read your answer yesterday and my brain said oh right. Today my subconscious has leaked up to my frontal lobes and if my web site is lost in the crowd and pr 4 is not too bad how did it get a page rank? Is it based on a spiders ability to crawl easily over my pages? Oh well! The more you learn the more you realize you have a lot to learn, and the more you learn! regards SJ

Your page rank usually increases by getting linked to by other sites. Especially sites which are deemed to be leaders (forget the exact term) of subject matter. So the higher your PR the more other high PR sites will be linking to exchange with you.
