ok
not sure if this should go in the
html section, but here goes
Basically we have a client, they are a marquee events organizer, they have some nice marquee images on their website but their competitors are stealing their images and putting them on their own sites (cheekiness of the highest order!!)
We told them that there were several options of overcoming this but the most effective one is watermarking. However, this obviously ruins the look of the image and would take us forever and a day to do.
Their favourite option is to prevent people from right clicking and saving the image. This is a bit of javascript that sits on the page and warns the user every time they rightclick. However, the main flaw with this is that people can still print screen and cut the image out.
…They’ve come back to us and presenting a bit of software that will encrypt the HTML, password protect the images and prevent people from rightclicking.
Here’s the link:

I have read through this software and done some research into user reviews and it seems a bit dodgy
so, here is where you lovely guys come in
Can you recommend any software that will encrypt the HTML, password protect the images and prevent people from rightclicking.
Main points
a)Does it encrypt the HTML of the whole page? If so does it mention whether search engines can still read the page?
b)How do you apply is it to a site
many thanks great webforumz wizards
