Re: Right Click

How many times does this question get asked in one way or another.

And how many times does the reply appear:

You should NOT be turning off the right click pop-up. The user has a right to this functionality. It's not your choice.

Re: Right Click

Dont be so quick to judge. Its something that a client has asked for, he wants a menu to appear which is relavant to the system in order to allow users to better browse the system.

Do you know how to do it? I've been unable to find an answer

Re: Right Click

It's not a question of judging you. It is considered very bad form to take control of anything that should be the users choice. It's all part of designing fully accessible, fully functional, from the users perspective, web sites.

I would suggest you try and convince the client as to why this is a bad idea.

Consider getting round the issue with a primary and secondary navigation system. For example your main navigation could be on the left side of the page and your secondary navigation, that is particular to the page your on or the section of the site you are in, on the right side.
