Re: ASP and SEO?

ASP, PHP and other dynamic server side scripting languages will generally have no problems getting into google.

I would however recommend transforming all the url's into content relevant ones..... in ASP this can be a bug bear, but when you consider almost all the blogs in your line of topic whatever it may be, will almost definitly be using content relevant URL's then it's an avenue I would definitly investigate.

I have 7 years of ASP and SEO knowledge so should you get stuck, then please let me know.

Smile Re: ASP and SEO?

Ok great, thanks for that advice, I will pick your brain often! - I will try and implement this url thingy.

One thing I can see to do is make my homepage url keyword friendly, instead of url www.designbit.co.uk/blog.asp for this page I will change it to url www.designbit.co.uk/web_design.asp.

Most of my other pages are query string urls. They all just pull into either article.asp or default.asp.

Is this what you meant?
Will implementing feedburner help my SEO?
Thanks, Rob.

Re: ASP and SEO?

Yeah..... just drop the .asp extensions and lose the querystrings.

If you get stuck then add me to msn coz it's not something thats easily explainable in a forum.... I'll have to walk you through it.
