Disappearing elements

This is driving me nuts.

Certain elements in my code disappear when I upload them. For example, the following piece of code:

<div>
<img src="/image files/sidebannerad.gif" width="100" height="300" alt="sidebannerad" />
<img src="/image files/sidebannerlower.gif" width="100" height="200" alt="sidebannerad" />
</div>

One of the images doesn't display either in IE or Firefox and the sourcecode when viewed online reads.

<div>

<img src="/image files/sidebannerlower.gif" width="100" height="200" alt="sidebannerad" />
</div>

there's a few instances of this on my page and I can't figure it out.

Any ideas?

The page I'm developing is http://www.usdmanciano.com

Re: Disappearing elements

That is bizzare. I'd report it to your host, see what they might come up with. If not, maybe try a different FTP application.

Re: Disappearing elements

Tried different ftp software - same result.

I will try to check with the host tomorrow.

Re: Disappearing elements

The plot thickens!

I called my host. They were able to see my page exactly as it should be, so it's not a hosting issue either.

My brain hurts!

Re: Disappearing elements

cracked it!

I changed the names of the files and it worked. For some reason - maybe a clash of css Div name and element file name. Anyway, crisis over. thanks for the help.
