Hi,

Sorry about the vague question. Am trying to build from scratch. I do know Java. But I heard that there are a lot more languages to build the site like Perl, PHP, etc (scripting languages) which I heard might be easier to do the job. Wanted to know comments from those who have designed similar websites & what was there experience with the technology they used.
