Cool refreshing webpages!

Hello, I have made a website for a 60 year old man who isn't very good with computers. I made some changes on his site and told him to have a look, he said he couldn't see them and I told him to refresh. Then it worked ok.
But now he is asking me if everyone who looks at the site has to refresh before they can see the changes, and how will the average Joe Bloggs know to do this?

I am stumped with this question. I have never really considered it before, what is the answer?

thank you in advance!
Z.

Re: refreshing webpages!

The answer is no. Browsers, by default, are set to check for new versions of any page they have visited in the past. Sometimes though, they wait a certain amount of time/days.

His just might've not waited long enough.
