Ohmygod! what's happened?

I've been reworking my test page based on glitches in Firefox. Without warning, the content below the banner has stopped displaying in IE even though it's visible in Firefox.

Any ideas?

Re: Ohmygod! what's happened?

For starters - validate your xhtml and css.

Could be wrong but IE might be having trouble with the charset specified in your meta tags.

Sorry, long day...

I read your post wrong, I thought you meant it was messing up in FF.

Oh!!!! there is indeed a problem!

I would say follow the above suggestions.

Re: Ohmygod! what's happened?

I've tried your suggestions - validated the xhtml and css.

No joy.

If I take out the link to the CSS I can see the content, which made me think there was some error with the link, but there isn't - otherwise it wouldn't work in Firefox. The charset is UTF-8 and everything there checks out too. Everything was fine and then, without reason. It's not.

as always, it will probably be something very simple.

Re: Ohmygod! what's happened?

When you validate your xhtml and css you are supposed to act on the errors and warnings you are given.

I've just validated your page and it's coming up with the same problems as earlier.

Re: Ohmygod! what's happened?

Point taken about the validation, but I made the essential corrections offline and it wasn't that. Anyhow, I fixed the problem. It was a floating div issue.

Thanks for the help.
