PHP Image Manipulation

Well, I've made an iPod base in photoshop. I'd like to be able to add text to them with I know it's possible, but I don't know any PHP. So if someone could point me in the right direction or even actually help me, that would be super. Oh and yes, I have Googled it, but all it comes up with is a big package which I can't use because I can't host my own site. Argh.

What exactly do you mean?

Well I'd like to be able to have that iPod image on a website along with a text box in which one would enter text and click submit and the text would be put on the screen of the iPod.

You can do that using PHP with GD installed .... there's an examples program that adds a variable piece of text on top of an image here and that's perhaps the trickier part of the application. The other part (setting up a form and reading from it) .... you should find many examples all around ... and if you're so new to PHP that the form handling worries you, I would suggest you have a look at a few FAQs and help pages, then come back here to ask if you've any specific issues.
