when using CSS for layout you can center any site by giving the container div a left and right margin value of "auto"

If you wanna help him, stop throwing templates at him and offering to do things for him and start giving him guidence. That way he'll progress more!

its just a case of "a little help goes a long way"
i remember my first site and it was crap, worse than crap - i got some help from different people in places like this and i hunted stuff on the internet, but i still learnt - it just saved a hell of alot of time messing about learning how to do simple things, all ime trying to do is the same for other people

Dude, That is a bad attitude to have towards web design!! It may get the job done in terms of looks but that's where it ends.

It is not SEO friendly.
It is not good for browser interoperablity
It is not good for accessiblity
It is not good for loading times
It breaks the fundimental role of CSS, to seperate style and content.
