Hi

I've just registered so this is my first post to say hello & introduce myself.

I stumbled across Webforumz a few weeks ago & have been reading it ever since - picked up some great tips & useful websites, so have already found the advice here invaluable.

I have just started writing my own websites in xhtml in my 'spare' time & am currently trying to make my first site live - when I have, if I'm feeling brave, I might even put it up for critique! I would like to become a web designer eventually but realise there is so much to learn &, of course, it is ever evolving so it must be really difficult keeping up-to-date when working alone? I'm weak on the graphic side, currently learning Photoshop but using Serif 'cos it's free.
