Your prices are a joke and your wording basically tells everyone you are flake! If they don't like it they don't have to pay?... man o man! I could keep you busy for years and never pay a dime.

What I get from your site is...

"I am just looking to make some money on my free time, this is all new to me so I will charge you next to nothing to put up with my crap"

Yeah, makes a lot of sense! I didn't stick around long enough to see all the other conflicting ads.

Google ads are suitable to your content. I don't mind if they are for other designers. The site is their as an informative tool.

Good comment red. I hear you on the "cheap". I will change that to sound a little more professional. I reckon I could desgn something much better. I launched it roughly 2 hours after jamroll released free subdomains so I put it together really quickly. The reason it has google ads at the bottom is to do with hosting and the ones on the side because I assume most of my money will come from ad clicks and work done with people I know to begin with. Once I have worked with some people I will probably take the ads of and try to concentrate on generating new work through designing for people.

The reason there is a pictures page is due to that fact they are a local business which people in the community will be interested in their travels. If you wanted to see examples of the baskets, products etc they are all on the products section. I need to do a few things with some of the pictures as they are of poor quality.

Ive never used photoshop for website design before but check this concept and template for a new site I made. Hopefully I will replace my current website with it.

Well if they don't like it and I think they are unreasonable I can stop designing for them and use it as a template for someone else. Plus I am just trying to make a little money on the side because I go to school. Im not a god damn multi national multimillionaire designer.

You just don't get it. Basically you are putting the option of failure out there on the table. Why on earth would you put any focus on such a negative aspect?

Second of all, you are making the assumption that a potential client doesn't understand common business practice where if they aren't satisfied they aren't going to pay. This is well-known to most anyone already, but you would rather make darn sure they know just in case. Good idea!

This basically confirms my initial opinion. It's a side job, and you can't give it your full attention. Where does that leave a customer while your in class? Yeah, I'll get to your website after my calculus and social science classes sir!

There isn't any real commitment to the business which means no real commitment to any of your clients.

By all means though, continue. I just got another website job that the client took away from a guy like you. I got more done in 2 days then they did in 2 months which makes me look great. Had they went straight to a legit company in the first place they wouldn't have known how terrible some people can be.

Im not looking to undertake --- huge jobs you dumb ****. I am merely looking to do little stuff for people. I asked comments on the design not on the --- writing.

The icing on the cake of course is that this thread will be spidered by Google and any potential clients searching for your company could very well find this. Not sure they'd be too willing to do business afterwards.

I dont agree with some of mreine's comments, having once been a school age designer myself, but i always tried to conduct discussions in an adult and polite way.

Yes well his condescending comments annoyed me. Therefore decided to stop. Im going to redesign the site now or make templates for template monster instead.
