I know pop ups are not fashionable but sometimes you just need to control the new window in ways a blank window can't do. In this instance is because I want to dump the navigation bar to make the new page less cluttered. It's for linking thumnails to larger images. Works well if you put the large image on its on page in terms of SEO otherwise I would just link to the image. Is my only safe option to use a blank target or as you suggest open the link in its current window? Surely there is a practical work around.
