General Helpful Topic

I'd love to see a "general pointers" topic where people could post facts, sites, techniques etc. that they find helpful and interesting -- on topic only, i.e. relevant to web development. Most of the core topics call for a post only if someone states a problem.

Like I just saw a Harris Poll result, about internet users' usage of various search engines: Google 57%, Yahoo 21%, MSN 11%, Ask Jeeves 3%, Dogpile 1%, AltaVista Lycos and Excite <1%. Really good info for people who do advertising with them, rock solid source, possibly hard-to-get at least at the primary stage. I'd like to share it with everyone but I wouldn't know where to post it.
