HELP, ASAP- Lag time when clicking on link... how can I fix??

Hi there- I am new here and already need some help. I am designing a site in Dreamweaver (Klackle Apple Orchard and Pavilion - www.ekho3technology.com\Klackle\Index.htm if you click on the link that says Pavilion Sports in the black bar, you will get to the area that I am currently working on) What my trouble is, is this- Once you get to the Pavilion area, you will see a bunch of links in the green bar about 1/4 of the way down the page - the links are About Us, News & Events, Calendar, Hard Court Sports, etc. Each of these menu items has a drop down that I created in Dreamweaver to display additional links. They all work fine and get me to the page I want to go to, but when I click on one of the links, it seems to take forever to transition to the next page. I know it is not my connection as I am using high speed cable (I am wireless, but it is still not the cause I am sure). I am thinking that the code that Dreamweaver put together behind the scenes is maybe too large or there is some unnecessary code that Dreamweaver threw in there that could be taken out to speed things up. I am not sure, but I know that my client will not be happy with the load time on these pages and I need to find a way to speed up the time it takes between clicking on one of the links and getting the next page to load.

I am not a programmer, that is why I do most things in Dreamweaver, so if you might be able to help me, I'd appreciate it. I need to get this done ASAP, so I will be awaiting anyone's response. Thanks!!

Jalon

Couldn't help as the links you refer to which I tried were 'unavailable'.
Rest of the site seemed to work okay.
Bumping after 30 minutes?
Is anyone that desperate?

Hello-

Here are the links again.

I wasn't aware you were keeping track of my time schedule. I have a deadline to meet. Thanks.

Take all the Javascript from line 39 to 516 and put it in a .js file and then include that within the head editable region for the pages that use the drop down menu.
Like so:

HTML: Select all
<script type="text/javascript" src="line_39_to_516_Javascript.js"></script>

Also you might want to try something like this instead of that bloated Macromedia menu
