inputs remembering their input (autocomplete)
I'm working on a website to give vocabulary quizzes. Sometimes, if I'm typing in a word that I've had already, it'll pop up below the input, like when you're typing a web address that you go to a lot into your address bar and the full address pops up below it. How can I get rid of that?

Re: inputs remembering their input
You can place autocomplete="off" in the form statement but that is not compliant code.

Re: inputs remembering their input
Well, there has to be another way. I've been looking at html for sites I know that don't use the autocomplete feature and none of them use that method. Anyone else know what it is?
