Hi, I am looking to receive some constructive feedback on my new review website www.whatswinning.com. Any comments on the design & usability of the site would be extremely appreciated. Thank you very much in advance… Simon

Re: I would very much appreciate your comments on my website
I like the concept, and the site is really well done.
some improvements: - the logo - doesn;t really fit in the with the blue look and feel, maybe update the background colours? - the footer - move the copyright text into the blue footer block and get rid of the validation buuttons. if you really want to show these then a simpel text link on a second line under the copyright would be sufficient.

Re: I would very much appreciate your comments on my website
I agree with the logo and the site, not really in sync, even if the logo had a slightly different shade of blue it would be more fitting.
The site almost looks web 2.0 with the blue gradients and curves on the navigation. I would get rid of the thin blue borders around the boxes on the left and maybe make the background colour of the boxes a darker grey. I think this would make the site look stronger, solid blocks of colour, rather than dainty borders. mwdesign |

Re: I would very much appreciate your comments on my website
Have to agree that all-round it's a nice clean site.
The few additions already mentioned would not go amiss Personally, I would also change Quote:
I've just written a post for another site that made a point on user behaviour, and how the user needs to know instantly what you're site is about (10 principles of effective web design). IMO, it is just not clear enough straight-off what you're site is. That heading I quoted above was about the second thing my eyes flicked too, but to me it had no real value. Only when I continued to read, it started to unravel, but other users will not be so patient.
