a big thank you to bonnit and saltedm8 for their replies. i am currently looking into how to use "divs" in web page design but having just gotten back into html and building websites again have been a bit reluctant to learn about them for fear of confusing myself. Anyway bonnit thank you for the resource link will check it out. And saltedm8 thankyou for your tip on css styling, i do put some images in a seperate css folder but i will now ensure i do this with all images
