I didn't see a dreamweaver forum, so i hope someone can help me here. I am trying to make buttons in photoshop or fireworks for my dreaweaver website. I want to be able to place the buttons anywhere on the site. I was told I could do this by inserting a layer and then inserting my image(button) in that layer. In order for my button to not bring the color of the canvas with it into my dreamweaver site, i make the canvas (in fireworks/photoshop) transparent and save it as a png. That works fine if I insert it into dreamweaver without a layer. But when I insert it in a layer it turns the layer color into a grayish color. Could someone please tell me if I am doing something wrong here and how to correct it. Thanks.
