Hello,

I am brand new to website design, well sort of, I have been learning and working on this site for almost a year. I have taken a couple of html classes and I am really starting to enjoy designing this website and finding ways to improve it.

Like others, I am looking for constructive feedback on my real estate photography website.

I look forward to hearing back from everyone.

Brian

your photographs are slightly distorted, i cant image this would advertise your services very well from the start? maybe use fireworks to optimise your photos as a start?

nice pickup bonnit - i couldn't put my finger on it and your right the aspect ratios are wrong.

for me the home page is a little cluttered - maybe u should move the testimonies to their own page, or have on on there - but have it linking to a page of other ones with images?

I would also include more 'images' of work that you have done on that page as a taster / teaser. remember that is what you are selling so make a point from it from the out set!

It's a litttle to bla, in my opinion. A sidebar or something would make it a little better. I also don't like the background color.

You got a few markup errors, also.

Re: Photographer new to website design

My apologies to all that have replied to my message. I have been out for a while and did not check for any responses. I do appreciate the time and effort for you taking a look at the site and providing me with feedback. I am heeding the advice that you have sent so far and I am updating the site accordingly. Hopefully, within the next week, I will have a new site to present to you. Thanks again for the feedback. It is greatly appreciated

Brian

Re: Photographer new to website design

All,

Here is a the website that I am working on. With this website I have noticed a slower load time even though I have optimized the pictures for the web. Do you all see a slow load time? Also I noticed when going from one picture to another (on the home page photo gallery) the pictures morph, in size, into the size of the next picture. I don't like this but I'm not sure how to fix this.

Thanks for looking at this site.
