I know the problem.
Last February I designed a site for a UK Rugby Club. See: http://verulamians.co.uk/

At first they wanted all the info on one page (One team next to the other - the width would have been 4-5 1024px screens)
Then we tried color coding the teams vertically (That was unacceptable to the fans, they wanted to print it out - and the colored ink was too much of an expense) So I added a down loadable excel file for printing.
Since it was all a rush job in the middle of the season that was enough.

Now I am planing to redo it with a separate sitemap only for the different tables.
I am also thinking of using SQL to update them.
