Cannot loop my video / .swf file

I've created a .swf file of some Quicktime footage.

Loads and runs fine - I inserted it using Dreamweaver 8.

The params are set to LOOP and AUTOPLAY. In the HTML code, loop="true".

However, it doesn't loop. If I remove LOOP and AUTOPLAY via Dreamweaver, it still autoplays.

So why doesn't my file loop? Do I need to set something in the .swf file?

Right clcik on the flash on your browser to make sure your settings for your machine are set to loop.

When I RIGHT CLICK, options :

Zoom In
Show All
Quality
Settings
Print
Show Redraw Regions

No option for LOOP???

loops fine for me.

Right click on the flash animation and makesure loop is ticked.

What version of Flash are you using?

I've got Flash 8 with IExplorer 6.0.28

How do i activate the loop? I have been trying to solve this for days - even Macromedia haven't got back to me!!

Ok, can't get loop to work - try something else. My swf file will not end on an image but turns to black. Is it possible to get the video to halt at an image to avoid black box on web page. I'm using flash video encoder and progressive download. Any takers on this?

okay, no joy with loop so try something else. Is it possible to end the swf video file on an image? Mine turns black which doesn't look too good on the web page. I'm encoding video on flash video encoder and installing in flash via progressive download. Any pointers would be good before I give up on this!

u can export it as a gif, but it shouldnt be black, unless your not ending all ur layers at the same point.
