Brochure type website for a web application.
Hey guys. I don't know if I am allowed to post .jpgs or if it has to be HTMLized first. If I can't do this please let me know and I will delete this. I was just wondering if I should go further with this or to scrap it and try something else. What do you guys think of it so far? I can't disclose the name or logo, but hopefully you can still get a general idea (hence the blurring).
The url is to the jpg is http://ninegatesgrads.com/mockups/ho...0v3_edited.jpg Another version: http://ninegatesgrads.com/mockups/home_page%20v5.jpg Last edited by catalystmediastudios; Apr 11th, 2008 at 20:36. |

Re: Website for a web application
if you upload it to a server and put the web address of it that will be fine
failing that you could attach it to your post

Re: Website for a web application
Sorry about that. I phrased my response horribly. I meant:
Is the way I posted the url to the .jpg in my first post ok. But it looks like it is. Thanks |

Re: Website for a web application
It seems a bit bland to me, try adding a bit of depth to it?
Also the content gradient seems a bit dark to me.... a personal rule of mine is never to use pure black or white in designs, dark and light greys that look almost like black and white tend to work, but i find them easier on the eye. What are you using to design this? windows or mac because you have to bear in mind that windows is darker than a mac. Also your content text seems a bit big to me? Mainly because it's bigger than the nav? |

Re: Website for a web application
Ok I've got a new version up here : http://ninegatesgrads.com/mockups/home_page%20v5.jpg
I'm on Windows right now, but I change the workspace to Macintosh RGB to see how it looks. I think I'll make the font-size a bit smaller on the content and nav of my latest version. What do you think? How does it compare to the first? |

Re: Website for a web application
why are you blurring everything out?

Re: Website for a web application
NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement). I can't put out sensitive information so I had to blur out what it does, what it's called, and the logo. I know it makes it hard to see, but it's required.
