How about "jumpers for goal posts" ?
To me that is what football is all about, it's a leveler for all people, that everyone can communicate on. It's about going down the park with your mates, throwing down your jumpers and arguing over who is going in goal first. Then after an hour, a flip of a coin, two sprint races and keepy-upy comp, someone goes in goal and we play all afternoon.
However, you would find some
tough competiton ( I personally like
http://www.caughtoffside.com/) not only from fans sites already out there but also from the big newspapers (i.e.
http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/).
I think the main issue you are going to have to overcome is why would people read you, a unknown with no history in the game, over others who have been doing this for years or are affiliated with a big newspaper (and therefore automatically have credibility)?
This isn't meant to be a put down, but rather to highlight that this is huge challenge - I am sure that you will rise to it adequately.
