I like it, good site, there are a few errors as you said.
I would maybe place a <h1> tag in there, and use CSS to replace it with the header image, can be good for SEO. Apart from that great site, good job mate Craig

great site, love the look and feel, as others have said you have a few errors and a little bit to do to improve on site seo, but apart from that great.

i was just looking at your site for the WOTM awards. I have a couple critiques, if you don't mind.
First off, the red highlight text "Welcome to the art society....." shouldn't be there. Red makes it seem like its an important announcement like "sorry for the downtime we experienced" or "signup successful," not an welcome message and a blurb on how to use the site. Also, on the sidebar I can barely tell the that the links are actually links, look like normal text to me. And my last critique is to get rid of the "terms and conditions" sidebar
