I am new to this forum so I shall begin with a brief intro:

My name is Sean and I am relatively new to website work - I did the basics at School, College and Uni. My current job deals with all the technical RMA issues that customers have to the company where I work. Before this position I worked as an engineer in the same company.

Ok enough of my boring intro...

My question is this, at work me and a collegue run a fantasy football system. In the past this has always been run via Excel and the updates simply emailed around to everyone involved.

This season we decided to try it out on a website. Now we did this by getting some webspace, and uploading all the Excel pages to that space. This works fine (to an extent), however every week we have to manually change peoples teams (if they made a player transfer) and upload the teams again. The same with the points system, each week we have to manually input the points - which is fine- the problem lies in that each time we do this we need to re-upload each file we edit.
My question is, is there a way of making it so each participant can edit their own team online, and the data changes instead of me and my collegue editting and re-uploading. Also the same question for the points system.

If anyone here knows of any solutions I would be very grateful indeed. So far I have trawled the internet looking for ready made solutions, i.e. software that can be downloaded and used etc, but to date to no avail.

Also apologies if I have posted this on the wrong forum, I figured beginners new to wed design was most appropriate!!
