Hover Links In IE

I have a very simple page, my Problem is my top navigation, I have created hover links. So when I hover Over photo's I get a little preview beside it of thumbnail shots, and when I click the link, it goes into a slide show. Which works fine in Firefox, In IE however the preview doesn't work until i click the link the slide show shows up and the preview thumbnails play in the background and continue to stay there even after I close the slideshow. Is there a way to get this working like Firefox, Or does anyone suggest an alternative solution.

this looks more like a javascript error than a CSS error

Any suggestions then, I didn't write any of the javascript and barely know how to manipulate it. This isn't urgent or anything, Just would like some gudiance, on how to solve this or what would be a better way to do this.
