[Solved] Site fails to set up site's testing server

Hi

basically my dreamweaver mx wont setup the sites testing server.

I am following your tutorial 'The Dreamweaver MX Files part 1'
http://www.webthang.co.uk/goto/tutorials/000014/?cat=2&tut=14&page=3&inct=no

I am currently on page three however I am stuck on Page 3 where it requires all the 3 ticks in the Application Database menu in dreamweaver MX.

I have 2 ticks on:

1) create a site for this file
2)choose a document type

However, on 3) set up the sites testing server. I am unable to get a tick.

I have clicked on the testing server link and set it up again.

Server model: ASP VBscript
Access: Local/Network
testing server folder: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\dwmx1\

yet I am unable to get a tick and proceed to further steps.

I hate niggly little problems like that.

I find I spend more time fixing problems than making my website .

Trying to use ISS 7 on Vista and ASP pages in dreamweaver with an Access database. ooo its a pain

On the second thought... I have less pain when I started my programming world in IIS on Windows XP with ASP and ACCESS. I found out that is is so easy, I mean the setting and installation things!

Why do you need to connect to the internet in order to test your server?
I don't get it. Could you explain a bit more?
Cheers...
