Matchbox Cars
Hey I just released a really simple website. Let me know what you think of the design.
Please disregard the coding problems and use of tables. This was caused by the use of a php script which I integrated the design into. I will go back and fix these coding mess later. Matchbox Cars Last edited by mikka23; Mar 15th, 2008 at 10:50. |

Re: Matchbox Cars
On the design, it looks very well laid out, the colours go well together, it is easy to navigate and use.
the code however, you seem to be using tables for some of your layout, you really need to get rid of these for pure css. http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...boxcars.org%2F There are also 260 errors with a transitional doctype, you really need to get these fixed overall, the design i like, nothing wrong with that, you need to take a look at your code though Hope this helps Craig

Re: Matchbox Cars
Hello,
The site looks very professional. You know exactly what you are selling and it comes across very clear to the customer. I like to clean lines and the use of the white space. The site navigation is straightforward and easy to understand. The only thing I would suggest is the list of items should be shorter on the front page. Otherwise, site looks very professional. This website critique is based on an E-commerce course that I am taking. Hope this helps, Phoon |

Re: Matchbox Cars
Hi,
Great job on the site. The design is very nice and professional and the color scheme suits the theme of the site very well. Overall the layout is excellent; the side menu is well structured and the ability to quickly and easily search for items is readily available to the user. I would think about cutting down the number of items listed by default on the front page. Maybe show like 10 by default and give the user the option to display more if they want to (like 20, 30, all). My comments are based on my studies as a web developer and from an e-commerce course I am currently taking. Fantastic job on the site! rhystic |
