hi, im not sure if this is the right place to post this question, ive looked around and couldnt find anywhere else it maybe more applicable, so if its not, i do appologise.

ive just started creating a website that clients can view for free, but need to buy a membership using paypal before they use anything on the site. thing is, i have no idea how to do this... i only have a little experience with web design, so please try not to use abbreviations too much if you do reply, as this will confuse me.

i know how to add a paypal "buy now" button, but i dont have any idea how to allow the client/user to access certain things after they have paid. i take it i dont physically have to search through all the payments, and grant each client with those rights? because that would become very confusing since it will be possible to buy monlthy, 3 months or yearly memberships...

im pretty sure i have explained everything as much as i can, but while typing this i noticed this site has the option to purchase "supermember status" thats the kind of thing im talking about.
