Re: SEO Support ASP

SEO is a combination of numerous efforts, both on and off site. The question of 'is ASP SEO friendly' is on the same lines of 'SEO friendly web hosting'.

In other words, they have very little to do with SEO as a whole. Yes, ASP may mean friendly URL's might be harder (comparing IIS to Apache), but it's just a drop in the SEO ocean.

Content, backlinks and marketing awareness are of far greater importance than your programming language. If you are unsure on the techniques of SEO, you might want to consult this basic guide first.

Re: SEO Support ASP

ASP url rewritting is as simple as writing a 404 error handler. Easy once you dive in.

Pretty url's on ASP is easily possible without expensive asapi filters -you just need to get your fingers alittle dirtier with some code

I'm sorry, but your question makes as much sense as:
"Can a tree help me fly?"
Well, no. A tree has nothing to do with your ability to fly, BUT, if you cut it down, build yourself a plane and jump off a cliff you might clear some air. See where I'm going?

- ASP is a programming language you can use to make webpages.
- SEO is the idea of making webpages SE friendly.
- You can make good pages with any language you like.

A programming languaga has nothing to do with SEO - it's what you make of it.

SEO is user friendly to ASP, PHP, ASPX, JSP, or any other.

It doesnt pay attention to the backend technology of your website
