Cache Question
Hi there
I just finished a site were i updated old pages, but used the same name for the page. Is there anyway i can force peoples browsers to refresh the page and not use the cache, because that would display the old page... Thanks so much |

Re: Cache Question
I think he means the cache on a user's browser might mean his new content is not shown.
toastyrat, you can use a meta refresh to do the job, but you'd need to construct some form of identification, so that once a user has had the site refreshed, it doesn't continue to do so (you could try setting a cookie once the user visits, that disables any further refreshing).

Re: Cache Question
Ok... I found the best way to solve this. Even though it is quite a big site, the simplest solution was to just rename all the pages. I don't know why i didn't think of it before. But i t didn't take too long and it works great.
Thanks for the help |
