Flash 8 blurry/streaky image problem

Hi,

I am creating a flash website. It all works great except whenever i click on the navigation bar an image appears as it should, but with a streak at the side. Even if i have different backgrounds, or colours, the unsightly streak/blur is present at the side of the page. I have even ensured the image's co-ordinates are whole numbers. I heard this should help, but it hasn't.

Any help/advice would be massively appreciated guys,

Its quite possibly a problem with the image quality. Go to file --> Publish Settings and click the 'flash' tab, what image quality is set?

here is a screenprint of my settings. Also, the problem can be seen in the background. Next to the white square there is streaking/blurriness of the wallpaper.

I've noticed that the problem isnt as bad when i change the white square to orange, or blue.

But, ideally i don't want to have to design the page with these colours so any help would be massively appreciated.

Hmmm ive had a similar problem i know exactly what u mean but i cant remember what i did to get it working. Theres a chance that a motion tween may be causing it to blur for some reason, have u got everything on seperate layers and is each element been made a symbol?
