Background question

Im trying to get a background picture to fit a certain area

heres the code

I could just resize my image, but i have to do this for multiple images, and want them just to resize to the correct size

Not 100% sure, but I think it's not possible to resize background images with CSS. You can only position the image or set the repeat horizonta/vertical/both.

I found this (with javascript), but dynamically resized images will never look the same as images resized with PS or GIMP...

Why have u got a margin-bottom AND padding bottom? Have u got a link or screenshot of your site? I dont think it matters but u have missed the';' off at the end of ' height: 359px', put it on just in case

Unfortunately, this is only a feature in CSS3, which is not widely (or properly) supported yet.

It looks like you'll just have to re-size them.
