Re: Hover effect for sub menus ?

What exactly do you mean by this, is it for your navigation?

I am very happy with this menu it handles IE6,7 & ff really well, though there are plenty of what I think are hacks? or is that a bit of a contradiction?

HTML: Select all
 <!--[if lte IE 6]></td></tr></table></a><![endif]-->
I do have an issue with my images page now, as you will see if you follow the link and view a photo.

Any suggestions?

Re: Hover effect for sub menus ?

what problem do you mean, the menu doesn't fade away like the rest of the page when you click on a picture?

Re: Hover effect for sub menus ?

As for your problem, it could be caused by all the hacks you have got in there.

Try using this in your <head>

Code: Select all
<!--[if IE 6]>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="iespecific.css" />
<![endif]-->
and use a different stylesheet for IE, this may solve the problem?

hope this helps

Craig

Just put all your styles into it, but change anything that will make IE6 display your menu correctly

Re: Hover effect for sub menus ?

It's not a hack as such, you just, as danny said, put everything your have in your usual one, but you make the changes as to make IE6 display properly.

This makes it easier to change your actual CSS, and also easier to design for the so called browser IE6

Ok, that understood, but I really cant see anything in the CSS that causes the nav bar to remain in view when displaying the slide show?
