I have an idea for a site that i want to do, and i have been sketching it out in college, (amazing how useful English lessons can be )

I think i will do what you suggest, get the basic layout sorted at first, then work on the colour schemes and images

So photoshop is the best to use for web images then you reckon?

Also, what format should i use, obviously if it's a transparent BG image then PNG, but what about the others, is there advantages to using a particular one, or does it not really matter.
