Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

Its you again with your new LOGO
I like the shadowing effect, but it seems like something wrong with the shadow in the TRIANGLE and the shadow in the TEXT! They seems not matched with each other. Shadow or Lighting should be effecting other elements...

What's that "water-drops" means? Any specific meaning?

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

No, It's just a logo I thought looked unique. I didnt want to just do an orb, because thats more like an effect. This is what I would put on a portfolio or something. A Logo that would be on ANY portfolio I were to EVER create. As for the shadows, are you talking about how the shaodw on the text is darker than the shadow on the triangle piece?

BTW, thanks for all your comments Monie! You always respond to my posts.

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

You are welcome...

No, I mean how you CURL the lighting in the text does not match with the triangle and vice versa...
Well, if you found it nice... go for it. I'll be here to see the EVOLUTION of your logo.

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

it looks really good. Shadow looks a bit odd because it's the same effect but on a smaller scale. Maybe if you take the text from the triangle enlarge it so it's the same height as the triangle. The follow the shading from the triangle onto the text.

like

/\ PRECYSE

then reflection etc.

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

thats nice but I suggest making the text alot easier to read maybe go for a white gradient on the text as the top of the triangle gradient is white. Plus I think I said in another post if you can make it in vector format as its a logo and that logo is simple enough to make in any vector program.

p.s that is of coarse if it isn't already vector

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

I like the effect of it getting lighter towards the top but it should still have a defined shape, not evaporate into nothing.

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

Alex, don't you remember? Your monitor is too bright!
Try bending your head over and you can see that the top is not just evaporate.
He put too much lighting effect on top of the triangle there...

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

I really like the logo and the color. It's has something to remember.
As the other's have mentioned however, the lighting is unrealistic in my opinion on the word precyse. The word precyse is in the solid orange area. So I feel that entire word should be flat orange. That would help in readability also.

Hope that helps

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

I agree with you the most Lchad. Thanks for all your comments thought everyone. I can work on the lighting effects og the triangle, but to enlarge my whole graphics alias would make the images too big for a "logo". It would then feel more like a banner to me.

And as the vector file, I don't even know if I have a program to make it a vector image

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

You don't need a vector program if this is just for online viewing.
So you are probably all set with this logo!

If you update it, post it so we can see!

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

So I changed the color just for fun, removed the effects of my name, and toned down the gloss shine on the uppper part of the logo.

I wish there was a way to just load this photoshop image, with a certain file type, into a vector program and do a conversion!

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

Looks better this one

Top of the image is more visible to the people like alex with monitors that are ridiculously bright.

The text also looks a lot clearer, easily visible now.

good job

Re: Permanent logo attempt!!!

I honestly havn't decided whether or not I wan't to create some type of portfolio site, or something like it, to use this logo on because I just dont feel like my work is all that good yet. Yeah, I'm not too shabby at techniques with Photoshop, but I'm not that create and creating layouts let. I have trouble on placement and things like that. But I'll think about it. Maybe I'll try to create a portfolio and just see what you guys think I've been doing with all my work.

But not tonight! I'm going to see my girlfriend Maybe tomorrow after my physics lecture, I'll come home and do some graphics to relax.
