Mouseover buttons help!

I'm having some trouble making mouseover buttons on my website. They don't seem to load very well on either Firefox 2 or IE 6. The mouseout image loads but when I mouseover it in order to load the mouseover image, it fails to do so.

What I need is a decent mouseover code that could load both images without any furthur problems.

Loose the JS and use one image instead that has both states. Then use CSS to show the image you want

Sorry for the late reply. I'm not really into hand-coding and I can't understand the difference between the active and normal images. And how come it's only one image? It is a good solution though but I don't know how to use it. Thanks!

For your links, drop the images and use CSS. You have text images... That is bad! Instead use css to style the text for you.

where your head tag is paste this code:

Then where your using an image, get rid of all that junk... Change it to:
