Smile supplemental results, penalization, change of algorithm? Cratima has a problem!

I am confronting with a problem regarding the SEO, SEM of Cratima website.
I use some indicators for my managerial analysis of the Internet marketing job done for this website.
One of this indicators is the number of results at Google when searching for the keyword “ cratima “
( I do this because I think that if this indicator grows it means that the amount of information about the company grows and it is good for our notoriety ) .
On 24th of November 2007 our cratima.com domain name expired (on 28th was reactivated) and 7 days later the number of results dropped from 60000 to 6000. I assumed that the expiration was the reason and don't take the problem too serious. The thing is that the number of results never came back to around 60000 again.
Now, I think that the amount of information hasn't disappeared from the web.
Please give me a clue, or help me with an article, some opinions.
I've searched the web and read about google hell, supplemental results etc. but I haven't found anything to explain or resolve this problem.
Has google changed the algorithm and many info about cratima on the web had stopped being indexed?
Has google another penalization policy that you can prompt me to read?
Has the domain expiration anything to do with this in the first place?
All the others indicators that I use for the managerial analysis are working just fine: alexa, pr, visits..

Thanks !

Re: supplemental results, penalization, change of algorithm? Cratima has a problem!

Right, You need to stop right now. You're wasting time with long words and complex ideas which will take you nowhere. Sandboxing, suplemental results and all those other complicated theories are too far ahead of the problems with your website.

Your problem is very simple: you have (virtually) no content. Your flash website might look nice and smooth, but spiders can't read the content inside your flash animations.

I asked Google to find pages within your website with the word "development", and I got ONE result. That is pathetic.

Googl'ing "cratima" doesn't tell you what information is on the web about your company, it merely tells you how many documents Google has found and indexed containing the word "cratima". I hope you understand what I mean - this is a very important point.

As a "manager", your "indicators for managerial analysis of the Internet marketing" should consist of...
- traffic reports - how many visitors do you have?
- keyword analysis - how do they find you?
- conversion tracking - how many of your visitors become business leads?

And as a "developer", your "indicators for analysis of the Internet marketing" should be:
- indexing reports - what information do search engines hold about my website?
- incoming links reports - who links to my website?
- link text analysis - what text is used in links to my website?

I do apologize if this sounds a bit harsh, but I you're in charge of web-marketing for your company, then you're doomed - as far as web-marketing is concerned.

I hope this helps you understand a bit more what Search Engine optimization is all about.

IMPORTANT: "cratima" is NOT a keyword - keywords are words/phrases a visitor might use to describe (and ultimately find) your content. Eg.: "webdesign", "programming", "graphic design", "integrated systems", etc...

Spinal has nailed this one.

Exactly. No-one will search for your name (unless you're Nike or Coca-cola). Ranking well for your name is useless.

...and moreover, I find the website bizarre and confusing to use.

That's not really easy to navigate on your website.

Yes, flash is not SE friendly.. You can create a static site for that and optimize it..

The most commonly accepted and most effective way is to have an HTML version of the site in addition to the flash one.

The HTML version should sit at the very very root of the domain and should be reached by going to yourdomain.com

On that page you would do a browser sniff and redirect all flash enabled browsers to the flash version.
