Feed back on my flash menu

hey, i'm building my new portfolio. and i need to borrow your eyes. What do you guys think of this menu i have made. I pretty sure that i am going to keep it as is, but with out the sound. i have made the bubble srandom too.

one minor change to what you guys see. is my offline version is a liquid layout. "i want all the screen"

I really find flash menus annoying. It's nice but ... why do I have to wait to see where that bubble is going!?!?

LOVE IT!

But once I have used 2-3 of the links I'm fed up with it.

yeah, i see where your comming from. the normal user to this site will only use it once. so it only has to work good once

Loading/Plugin problem!

But I like how you animate it Cool...

LOL -- those sounds are so weird.. They don't really add anything to the experience. The colours are great and the animation is smooth but I would seriously reconsider those sound bytes.

sound effects are out. i was annoyed by them. i just have background music now. i just have random song in there now. i need to create a script to stream it off the server if anyone is wondering why its not loading. the swf is 4mb. but only temp

Just wondering, can you place a HTML menu to appear if the user has flash disabled?

That's brilliant! I especially like how if you take your mouse off it smoothly flows back to where it was rather than jump back (Hard to explain but I think you know what I mean).

hey thanks for the feed back. its developed a little more. so do check it out. All sound has been stripped. The menu system has been created (but its hidden for the moment).

yes you can. in this instance there wont be. but if you use the UFO embed method it swaps the flash with some html. very handy. I'm using it on this site. If the user does'nt have flash a full HTML Site will Appear. /nifty for search engines.

ohh yeah for the blog i will be cutting the bottom of the flash and inserting the menu into wordpress.
