Hey there.
I'm pretty familiar with HTML, but not TOO familiar with php or css. Here's what I want to do.
Either one or the other. Whichever would be easier for someone to help me with would be fine.

1) I currently have a SMF forum set up, and would like to be able to make a website, and integrate the forum with the site. Not necessarily with the login field, but more about the aesthetics. I did find a couple "tutorials" on how to do it, but was still a little confused cause of my lack of CSS knowledge, and didn't get a lot of help from their forums.

I would also be content with doing something along these lines:

2) Build an entirely new site, and just link to the forum, and maybe just change the header of the forum so it has the same as the site. It wouldn't be as seamless as the other way, but it would be fine. But what I would like to be able to do though, is allow users to register and log in to the site from anywhere. Preferably the users list would be one for both the site and the forum.
I would like to be able to do this without the use of any CMS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
