[SOLVED] Vbulletin's JS question

I've noticed upon viewing the source of the "quick reply" button that it does not call a function with an onclick attribute, it simply returns false (which stops the link from loading).

So I'm wondering how does the function get called if it's not in called by that tag?

Re: Vbulletin's JS question

The event handler being used would more than likely be the "onsubmit" of the function...

It would be set outside of the HTML though..

eg

Code: Select all
document.getElementById('quickreplyform').onsubmit = function () { alert('Rakuli says Hi!');};
