Resolution for overhead signage?

Hi Guys.

I have a client who is looking to place the logo I have designed (for a website) over their coffee shop.

They haven't given me any sizes - but generally speaking, what sized resolution should I do?

Thanks,
Ed

300 resolution is what you will want! 300 resolution works for everything NON web related!

I agree 300 is top quality, then if you need to degrade it for the web you can.

Re: Resolution for overhead signage?

We have to supply a minimum of 800dpi to our agency, but then it does go into magazines etc as well.

edit:
I would ask the production agency what they require it in, then do it to their requirements

Re: Resolution for overhead signage?

I did it in 1500dpi - just to be safe - I can always make it smaller.

Thanks for your help guys.
