Re: the main page
Firstly, you shouldn't really link to index.php when talking about your website: markverkler.org is fine.
Although, if you still want to do this, you should try this code:

Re: the main page
So that will take http://markverkler.org and make sure it goes to the proper page?
Where must I place that code? |

Re: the main page
A .htaccess will do the trick. If you're host is running the Apache server and allows .htaccess file overrides, save this in a file called .htaccess and upload to your main website folder:
NOTE: Make sure your editor does not modify the file extension - things like notepad will add '.txt' unless you choose File type > All files in the save dialog box. .htaccess has no extension (well I guess .htaccess IS the extension)

Re: the main page
The above will work. Just make sure to upload the .htaccess file to the absolute root of your site... Otherwise it won't work!

Re: the main page
Yes, it works for me also.
If you don't know how to clear your cache, visit: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...learcache.mspx.

Re: the main page
The simplest way is just to use the default page name.
Most servers have index.??? set as the default page. Some do have default.??? I have NEVER used an .htaccess file and never had a problem with that. |
